BIO
Dr. Evans is a Urogynecologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carilion Clinic/Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine (VTCSOM). She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Virginia, and completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Carolinas Medical Center/Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina. She now works clinically as a double-board-certified Urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon. In her clinical practice, Dr. Evans is dedicated to clinical excellence and provides compassionate, high-quality surgical and outpatient care to women with pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Evans is passionate about educating learners at all levels, whether in the operating room, outpatient setting, or through research mentorship. As her APGO Humanism in Teaching Award demonstrates, she thrives on sharing expertise, and fostering a hands-on learning environment that allows students and residents to gain practical skills and confidence. She is also an active member of several vital committees within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Carilion. Lastly, she engages with women in our community regularly, providing them with tools, resources, and support to improve their overall quality of life
