Dr. Dunning is the Associate Department Head and Chief of Operations for the Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
He is a Collegiate Professor in the department. He joined Virginia Tech in August, 2020 after serving on the faculty at the University of Maine for 28 years. He was a tenured full Professor at UMaine and served as the Director of the School of Engineering Technology for 13 years.
